About 200 Chili's Grill & Bar employees in Portland are out of a job after four Chili's restaurants abruptly closed their doors earlier this week. Quality Restaurants Northwest, Inc., a Scottsdale, Az.-based firm that operated the six Chili's franchises in Oregon, closed two restaurants in Beaverton, as well as outlets in Wilsonville and Lake Oswego.

The company also closed Chili's restaurants in neighboring Washington: one in Bellevue and one in Issaquah, according to the Oregonian newspaper. Restaurants in Eugene and Clackamas will be operated by Chili's parent company, Dallas-based Brinker International Inc.
