Bidding War for Former INS Building Closes
May 27, 2008

The 77,000-square-foot building at 815 Airport Way in Seattle, Wash., originally developed in 1932, has been sold to a newly formed 10-partner company called INS Holdings L.LC. according to the Seattle Post-Intelligencer. Located on a single acre, the five-story building has sat empty since 2004 when the Immigration and Naturalization Service vacated the premises. The new ownership, which acquired the structure from the federal government in an online auction that began with a $2.2 million bid and lasted for months, plans to spruce up the property for use as office space.
