Holding firm to its current strategic plan, Fisher Communications Inc. has revealed that it is investigating options for its real estate assets, among them, the 294,000-square-foot Fisher Plaza near downtown Seattle, Wash. Located at 140 Fourth Avenue North, Fisher Plaza is a class A property with office, data center and retail space contained within a 200,000-square-foot building and a 100,000-square-foot building. The television and radio station owner and operator, and various company-owned entities occupy approximately 40 percent of the complex. While Fisher is putting out feelers for various alternatives, it has clearly expressed that there are no guarantees that any transaction will ultimately take place with regard to any of its real estate holdings.
