The Corky McMillin Cos., with BYCO General Contractors at the helm, has kicked off construction of a 104,400-square-foot office building at the 360-acre mixed-use Liberty Station development in San Diego, Calif. Known as Building 902, the three-story class A structure was designed by KMA Architecture & Engineering to adhere to LEED certification standards. Building 902 is the last of seven office structures that will comprise the mixed-use development's 380,000-square-foot Liberty Station Office District segment. The existing six structures are already 100 percent leased and Building 902 is well on its way to maximum occupancy, too, as an international defense contractor has pre-leased 70,000 square feet.
