$55M in Financing for Chula Vista Retail Property Closes

Financing to the tune of $55 million has been put in place for Village Walk at Eastlake, a 157,700-square-foot retail center in Chula Vista, Calif., about 15 miles from San Diego. Acting on behalf of VWE L.L.C., Capmark Finance Inc. orchestrated the interim financing, which was provided by an unidentified credit company. Located on a 13-acre site, Village Walk's roster of anchor tenants includes Trader Joe's Borders Books, Pier 1 Imports, Petco and Henry's Market.
