Denver-based ProLogis said Friday that it plans to build a 1.2 million-square-foot industrial center north of Stapleton in the Denver metropolitan area, the Rocky Mountain News reported. Construction on the 76-acre, five-building Stapleton Business Center North will begin later this year.
The center will also be built in accordance with guidelines established by the U.S. Green Building Council for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design certification. ProLogis currently has 3.7 million square feet within a mile of the proposed project.
