Avnet Inc. will continue to call the Arizona State University Research Park in Tempe, Ariz., home, now that the company has signed a lease extension for its 132,000-square-foot digs at 8700 Price Road. The technology supply firm, which occupies the entire eight-year-old class A office building, renewed its lease with property owner Piedmont Office Realty Trust for an additional five years for expiration in 2015. Colliers International represented Avnet in the transaction.
