A growing pharmaceutical firm has doubled its Cambridge, Mass., space as it continues to grow its head count. Acceleron Pharma, which develops tissue-growth therapeutics, will now occupy 75,000 square feet, according to the Boston Globe.

The company, which ended 2007 with a total of 85 employees, says it will likely end this year with 120 to 125. It plans to build a second protein manufacturing facility on the new 37,500 square feet of space it has leased, which brings Acceleron to two buildings in Central Square.
